The English School, located in Katihar District, Bihar, provides quality education to children from marginalized communities, including farmers’ children, tribal children, and those affected by floods. Currently, 80 children are enrolled in the Kindergarten section, with 40–60 new students joining each year. The school also trains local youth, like Rinkaj, who improved his English skills and gained confidence as a trainee teacher. This program enhances foundational skills, boosts literacy, and fosters critical thinking, helping children overcome cycles of poverty. By targeting disadvantaged families, the school promotes educational equity, social mobility, and long-term community development.
